Misinformed Advertising of Shoe Booster and Flight Booster

<p>At the begionning of teh year I bought the subscriotion to be abel to get the money back on a new pair of fitness shoes. I bouth this on the 18th January and at the time I went into the details and it said that the deal was up until the end of March. I was only able to do my fitness assessment at the end of February so i thought had enough time to get the full benefit as it was not clear in the instructions at the time that you needed to buy the shoes within 30 days.</p> <p>Now the advertising is clearer but I now have spent R300 for the benefit, bought the shoes in March but now do not qualify for the rest of the cash back because the advertising was not clear that i had to purchase the shoes within 30 days so it has in fact cost me an extra R300 to buy my shoes becasue the 25% discount I would have got anyway for doing my fitness assessment.</p> <p> </p> <p>In 2015 Discovery was launching the flight booster for the begijnning of 2016 which never happened. It only came into affect in 2017 so they falsely advertisied something that never happened for nearly 12 months.</p> <p>Now that it is active, it is not clear in the inital advertising as to which flights you can book on Kulula. I have now had the same thing with the flight booster in that it says you can book flights on Kulula.com but does not clarify in teh advertising but only on the alst page of the terms and conditions that it is only applicable to Kulula Flights and not the BA flights you can book through Kulula.</p> <p>I have now booked a flight that has one leg as a BA flight and 1 leg as a Kulula flight. This is what is on the Discovery website "Each eligible member can select up to 2 one-way or return local kulula.com flight bookings per year to boost their savings, excluding multi-city bookings."</p> <p>Because the flights I booked are under one booking it now doesn't count and yet when you book on Kulula you are able to choose different carriers for the same return flight so why does the flight booster not take the Kulula Flight as a one way flight?</p> <p>There are all these great deals but they are never simple and you have to read pages and pages of fine print to take advantage of them and even then, most of the time you end up making a mistake and end up paying more to Discovery anyway!!</p>
