La wellness screening voucher pick n pay

I did a LA wellness screening in Feb 2023. And received a voucher for groceries at pick n Pay of a value of R500. On the voucher sms, it clearly states that the voucher is valid for a year, in my case it is 2024 Feb. I went to pick n Pay to redeem the voucher in July, and the voucher declined. I was told at pick n Pay that they may be offline I must come back tomorrow. I went back the next day again the voucher declined. I called vitality, they told me that the voucher expired, it expires within 3months. But the sms says it expires within a year. This misinformation made me lose out on the voucher which I was looking forward to. I am not happy about this. This is confusing and my trust has went down. How do you write that the voucher expires within a year yet you say it expires within 3 months. I need answers.
