In bad faith

Our International Flight on BA was cancelled due to Covid December 2021. I was told that I can re-book later. I was then told that I need to get a refund before making another booking. I was told in January 2023 I will get my refund so I can rebook this trip and was told twice now that I will get the refund at the end of Feb 2023 - nothing - then March 2023 - nothing....today I was told that BA must first approve the refund. Who is lying to who......Mark me down as exceptionality disappointed with Discovery Vitality Travel for stringing me along all this time.
