High school going teenagers harassed by Captains at Virgin Active

Discovery is all for healthy family and exercise but sadly they fall short here when it comes to families visiting Virgin Active.. We have 2 high school going girls that we have encouraged to come to the gym with us and exercise as we believe in a healthy lifestyle but our girls are not allowed to use the cardio equipment unaccompanied and are constantly bothered by "Captains" telling them to call your mother...you are not allowed on here. To make things worse today, our one daughter has the flu and decided to go and sit on the computers and do her Math IXL homework. The next thing I see is my daughter standing at the studio door in absolute shock. I go to her and she says she is not allowed on the computers and that she should call me...I might say that this was very rudely done as well. Please keep in mind SHE IS IN HIGH SCHOOL, are you kidding me. Why are we paying fees for them to go to gym when they are not allowed anywhere in the damn gym. Instead of the gym employees standing around aimlessly and bothering our kids why don't they put someone in charge of the computer area so that the kids can sit and complete the work instead of being chased away. If you guys are all for healthy living you best have a meeting with Virgin Active and let them review their policies regarding teenagers as they do not fall in line with your policies. You guys happily take our money every month for the kids to attend gym but quite frankly they are not allowed in the gym. We were not the only family that was harassed by the Captain tonight and the other mom decided to take her kids and leave. How are we suppose to go to gym and be active as Discovery encourages when your HIGH SCHOOL GOING children are not allowed in the gym. So disappointed!
