GYM MEMBERSHIP

Being a discovery member i joined the gym at the beginning of Jan with the knowledge that my kids could join the gym for free. I contacted vitality on the 19th and 27th January to find out how to go about enrolling my kids and on both occasions i received an e-mailed brochure advising that kids up to 18 years can attend the gym for free. Upon speaking to an agent i then get advised that this is not true and that gym benefits have changed. I then got the issue escalated and received a call from a manager called Nel today after a whole week of querying. Only to be told that he is very sorry that the gym membership benefit has changed. What is wrong Discovery Vitality... you dont give someone something in writing and tell them different. What happens to the consumer protection act. I will definitely take this up further!!!
