Full Refund from Discovery Vitality Travel

Good day,

On Thursday, the 12th of September 2024 I booked for accommodation in Giyani, Malamulele (Vakhusi Bed & Breakfast) for one night - checking in on 13th Sep 24 and checking out on the 14th Sep 24 and made I made a payment of R1 548.00.

I then called the owner on Friday morning the 14th Sep 24 to ask if he saw my booking and if he knows Giyani Section B where we were attending a funeral, he told me that it was very far from his hotel where we’d be sleeping. He then advised that I cancel the booking as the money is still with Discovery Vitality and request my full refund and book another accommodation closer to where the funeral was going to be held.

I did that and contacted Discovery a few days and they told me that my refund was being processed. They also mentioned that I won’t be getting my full refund because of the policy and the fact that they will check with the hotel. I told them that the hotel advised me to cancel and request my for my full refund.

I haven’t received anything yet and today it’s the 24th of Sep 2024.

Please assist me to get my full refund back from Discovery Travel.
