Enable Xiaomi & Huami devices for tracking?

I'm quite disappointed to see that a tech savvy company like Discovery does not support the world leader in wearable devices Xiaomi - Huami. Why do you take so long? Unfortunately, I do not want to pay R 4000 for an Apple Watch when I can get many of those features for much less in something just as reliable.
