Double-charging for gym benefit
In June 2015 I joined Virgin Active under the KeyFit benefit (I was on a KeyCare plan), and I paid the R600+ activation fee. This year, I changed my plan to Essential Delta Core and activated Vitality, as I can't use KeyFit anymore. Virgin Active said that I have to pay another R1450 activation and sign ANOTHER 12-month contract, which locks me in for an extra 6 months, despite the fact that I've already been a gym member for 6 months. Virgin said that this is all Vitality policy and Vitality charges. I am very unhappy about this, because it is a rip-off. I can understand requiring me to pay the difference between the KeyFit and Vitality gym benefit activation fee - that would make sense. But forcing me to pay an extra R1.4k and locking me into a new extended gym contract? That's essentially the same as punishing me for upgrading my Discovery Health plan!

Vitality responded: \KeyFIT and Vitality are two separate membership type...To activate the Vitality Virgin Active gym membership
