Good day. I joined virgin active this morning and paid no joining fee since i am a new discovery member with vitality benefit. later i got called in by gym and was told i need to pay. i queried with the discovery call centre and was told that i dont qualify for this promotion since i was on discovery 3 years ago and also i have dependants. my problem is that previously i was not the main member on discovery as my wife wss. now that i joined 1 February 201t how is it that i cant make use of the no activation fee? also if i have dependants on my medical aid how can i also be excluded. This is **************. dependants means i am paying more to discovery than a single person yet they can utilise the promotion and i cant. Now the gym wants me to pay the activation fee or cancel. this is an inconvenience for me and if i knew earlier discovery didn't value their customers i would not have joined discovery in the first place. Is there anybody who can assist?
