Discovery Vitality Rewards program - USELESS!

I am starting to get very annoyed with discovery vitality for an issue that has happened on numerous occasions.

Today I wanted to convert my points into o a R500 voucher at Incredible Connection. As I was about to do that, then Incredible Connection was removed from the list. I then went to Cape Union Mart to find something that I could buy as Discovery supposedly allows me to get a R500 voucher at that store. Upon finding the product that I was looking for, I stand in the queue to purchase the item. I then tried to convert the points to the voucher and the app kept saying I must try again later.

This has happened to me many times before with other vouchers from Discovery. What then is the point of offering these vouchers to customers if they do not work? I immediately called Discovery to find out what the problem was and a consultant told me that I should use another voucher on the list. That is absolutely absurd. I will not continue to accept Discovery issuing me with vouchers that I cannot use. I work hard for these vouchers and now I’m not letting this slide anymore. I’ve been embarrassed way too many times when I get to the front of queues only to find out that Discovery wasted my time.

Now, a portion of my points will expire and I will not get what I want because of Discovery’s pathetic customer service.

I have a very good mind of cancelling my whole portfolio with Discovery. There is no point in having a rewards program when it is useless and does not work.

I will be leaving the country in a few days so I want someone senior to contact me as soon as possible, not only to rectify the problem but to compensate me for all the inconvenience.

This is absolutely unacceptable.
