Discovery Vitality - Gym Membership Special Offer

As a discovery member, I was in the market for gym membership and was advised by Virgin Active consultant that discovery is running a special whereby if you join up you get the first 12 month membership free. How it works is virgin active will deduct the membership fee each month and immediately thereafter discovery will refund the cash back into your account. I joined virgin active in Dec 2014 and the first debit of R119 was deducted on 31 Dec 2014, however at no point did discovery refund that debit. The second debit of R119 was deducted 31 Jan 2015 and by the 03 Feb 2015, again no refund by discovery. I then decided to call to enquire about the refund and was advised by Clive that he would log a query and get back to me within a few minutes regarding when the cash back will be refunded. Only at 14h30 did I hear back from discovery vitality manager Terrance Naidoo, who was not informed correctly about my issue and said he would have to get back to me. Terrance, called back advising I would get the first refund sometime in Feb, not sure when and as for the second debit, before March 2015 (Unacceptable). In a nutshell false advertising made to confuse the **** out of you.. Beware!!
