Discovery Vitality cashback ****

I am extremely unhappy with the Discovery Vitality Healthy Gear cash back rewards. I recently purchased a fitness device and was promised 25% cashback at the end of the month, which would have amounted to R1000. I only received R500 cashback. When queried, Discovery notified me that there is a limit of R500 cashback per month. This was not communicated to me at any of the touch points - online, or in-store. On the website it says clearly that I have 25% cashback activated at Sportsmans Warehouse. Nothing near it stating the cap of R500 cashback. And when I made payment in store, I was also promised 25% cashback paid into my account. I only found this important information after speaking to a consultant who had to explain to me step by step, where this is stated on the website. It was nowhere clearly shown, I had to scroll down and click in to extra information, it was not obvious at all and strategically placed to be easily overlooked by the customer. I think this is utterly ridiculous, and feel this is false advertising and completely *********. I would not have purchased the watch otherwise. I expect a statement from Discovery explaining their false advertising and to propose a solution.
