Discovery Vitality

Dear Mr Gore,

I allow myself to correspond with you on something that might be of our mutual interest, mainly in a marketing/strategy point of view for DISCOVERY.

Time is precious for both of us, and I will try not taking too much of yours. My name is Michèle Merrifield and I run an NGO in the Limpopo Province near Kruger Park.

For the last 10 years, my husband and I have been giving more than half of our little salary to Discovery, we have been following all our broker's advices, invested as much as we could, doing the vitality things that cost us a fortune (no medical aid, only hospital plan), challenging myself with physical exercises that I do not have time to do because I work from 7 am to 7am, investing in a fitbit watch that is now harassing me every day if I do not do all my steps and I thought I was doing pretty well according to the little time I can give to myself.

I went last week to the biotechnic assessment to find out that Discovery has made it a bit harder to get points recently as there was too many people succeeding in getting the bonus! On top of that, I receive a message stating that I am actually, according to my physical assessment, about 10 years older than I am!

Let me tell you something Mr Gore, I am a lady, giving DISCOVERY lots of money every month more than I can afford and I do not think it is a good strategy from your side, to send these messages stating a lady is older than she is! I get it every year, and I thought it was time that I give you my feedback on that.

I may be older than my age according to your health profile BUT, I run a non profit organisation for the last 13 years, given all I had to develop our organisation to educate underprivileged children and saving wild animals. All of that with passion, without counting hours, taking on many challenges, walking in the village, sweating in the sun to save an animal in need, getting up every three hours when needed to feed an orphan animals etc ...

I am therefore not satisfied with the way you are classifying me and I would like to know what YOU are doing or can do for people like me?

In our program, I run a lesson about *** safe, a proper lesson where children practically learn how to put a ****** on, why they should do so, they are free to ask many questions about *** and health issues because we do it with fun, self confidence and no tabous. I feel I am doing my part to reduce the spread of HIV and reduce DISCOVERY's expenses.

I have never asked any support to my broker because he is the middle man but I am now challenging YOU to make a step toward recognition and respect about my real age: 54!

I will be in Gauteng toward the end of the month and can even afford a trip at at your convenience to meet you or your team to present my organisation and needs.
