Discovery Vitality

I have purchased the latest 4th generation Apple Watch to assist with my training. My goal is 300 points a day. And for the most part - I achieve this. My review today, is that Vitality, on my Discovery website, tells me that I get awarded 300 points for a workout exceeding 40 minutes - as long as my heart rate is above a certain threshold. What I fail to comprehend is that on Saturday 1st December, I attended the Roxy Sup Yoga Run event at Sandvlei. I doubled everything I do on a normal day. Yet I got rewarded 200 points. The Roxy event has not pulled through - even though I was certain to make sure that my ID number and medical aid number were supp**** and inserted on the forms. I worked so hard on Saturday, had a huge amount of fun, only to have Discovery look at individual events and not stand back and look at what I had achieved in ONE day. I doubled what I achieved on any other day. Yet I got 200 points. Discovery - you need to evaluate how you measure and award points. I understand the system and I get how it works. For the first time in 25 years I am finally considering leaving Discovery as once a week I have to call in to ask where my point allocations are; why workouts have not pulled through etc. Even a visit to the dentist did not pull through. Your service is slack, your point allocation is not what it should be and I resent having to call in and discuss and plead with your consultants once a week. Its actually not worth the stress and I would rather be with another medical aid that takes this more seriously. Janine
