Discovery Travel - Pathetic Service

Be very weary when making a booking through Discovery Travel. Their customer service and relationship is POOR and PATHETIC with absolutely no REGARD or EMPATHY for their customers. I booked flight through Discovery Travel and I had to cancel because of medical reasons. I lodged a cancellation request on 9 January 2024 and to date, 20 March 2024, I am still waiting for my refund. The repeated excuse I am given is that they are waiting for the airline to refund the cost of the ticket. Surely, Discovery being an international conglomerate, in order to maintain their relationship with their customers, is able to finance the refund and wait for the airline to refund the money. BUT IT SEEMS LIKE, JUST LIKE ANY OTHER CAPITALISTIC ENTITY, THE ATTITUDE IS "TO HELL WITH THE CUSTOMER......" It is apparent that in South Africa, the public sector sets the "don't give a damn tone" and the private sector has also, sadly, adopted this attitude as well.
