Discovery tells me to turn off my Apple Watch to get points

Hi, its me AGAIN! Besides my 4 month old issue with Healthy Food Cashback's not being paid to me, I have yet ANOTHER problem with Discovery Vitality! So we have an Apple Watch through the Vitality benefit. I go to Virgin Active for a workout and obviously I turn on my Apple Watch to records my workout (that's why I got it right? Its not just jewelry right?!) The problem is that although I get Active Reward points for the Apply Watch workout, I dont get Vitality Point for it as I have reached the points limit for that type of workout. HOWEVER, I STILL QUALIFY FOR VIRGIN ACTIVE GYM VITALITY POINTS, BUT UNLESS I PHONE FOR THIS TO BE CORRECTED, I DON'T GET VITALITY POINTS!!!! But here is the best part: when I phone to have this corrected, the consultant on the phone tells me to switch off my Apple Watch, so that I can get the Active Reward Points and the Vitality Points without having to phone them every time!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it????!!!! Bunch of *********** imbeciles!!!!!!!!!
