Discovery Service the Pitts.
App**** for extended supply of medicines. Received form to complete with medicines required. Was advised that request form must be in 7 days prior to leaving country. App**** on the 19th January and received response letter on the 21st January. The form I had filled in listing required medicines was ignored and I received approval for medicines I used in 2015. Some of the medicines I've never used. Quantities listed were also in some cases incorrect. My current Blood pressure tablets were also not on list. Now some 6 emails and Five calls later I still have not had a single response to any of the 6 emails all addressed for the attention of Dr. Sinazo Mtimkulu who signed the original letter. During one of the phone calls I requested to be put through to this doctor who is the head of Discovery Care and was advised that he doesn't take calls. I spoke to Natasha in their chronic department who promised to resolve the issue but never did. I continued to call and got hold of Pumela in the Chronic division who promised to sort the problem out and keep me informed. This never happened either so I again got hold of Pumela and reminded him that he had failed to keep me informed. He said he had sorted the problem out and would email me the correct letter. Well the email arrived but it was a copy of the first letter containing the same garbage. How do these people stay in business when you pay a fortune for their non existing service. How do you have a company where the managers refuse to take their customers calls? They obviously don't want to know what people think of their companies service. KRA
