Discovery Penalises Customers Who Do Not Pay Additions
My Apple Watch Benefit is done. The Evaluation Periods are complete, all billing is complete, and there is no outstanding balance on the benefit.
Yet Discovery won't allow me to get a new Apple Watch. And here follows their reasoning: If I were to cancel the benefit earlier and had paid the penalty fee and outstanding amount, the benefit could have been ended on the system and I would have been allowed to get a new Apple Watch right then.
But as there is no penalty or outstanding amount FOR ME TO PAY on my benefit, Discovery claims they can't cancel the benefit early (it's running for another two weeks), and I have to wait until next month to get a new Apple Watch.
This means that, on their 24 month Apple Watch cycle, I can only get my second Apple Watch 26 months after the original one.
The expectation would be for a supposedly capable company like Discovery to allow upgrading on the cycle, not 2 months later - but apparently I didn't pay them enough on this benefit.
This is not acceptable and Discovery needs to resolve this earlier.
