Discovery Miles payed back

It all started from the 02/01/2024 and it ended today the 26/03/2024...almost three months. I mistakenly used my Discovery miles of an amount of 24 400 points through vouchers to different shop outlets. Yes this was my mistake and i took full ownership of my actions - I was also willing to lose all these miles. However, from the 3rd of Jan 2024 after a call, i was given an assurance that the miles can and will be reversed back to my account. I saved these miles for something that i wanted to spoil myself with and i have been accumulating them for that, but that could not materialised due to the delay in returning them back to my account. Due to this unsuccessful retuning them to my account, the attempts i made were fueled by frustration, disappointment, anger and wonder, a number of consultant fall to the line to be victims of those emotions. this made me to hate Discovery and its products because of the unmet promises and unsuccessful processes that were shared. Things changed today the 26th of March 2024 when an angel picked my call, she only took less that 2 hours to resolve something that was not resolved for almost three months. I made me to appreciate good people who will do whatever it takes after listening to your frustration to help you. indeed there are good people out there who will try by all means, to go an extra mile to protect their image, dignity, reputation, integrity and that of the company. In doing so, they secure their job and of many who might be in the line because of bad reviews...they are doing that because they feel called to serve other and those that employed them.
