Discovery makes a ****ing on iWatch offers

I signed up for an Apple watch 3 42mm 2 years ago. The standard offer is for a 38mm so I had to pay an additional amount (I think it was R1,400) upfront before receiving the watch. As per standard agreement, you need to achieve your fitness goals which was cool until Vitality did not record my daily goals anymore. Working in Malawi this posed a challenge as I could not connect with a life person to sort this out. Frustratingly I could get no practical means to sort this out and I started falling behind on goals, so my penalties started. This was the first bump in the process.

The next thing my screen bombed out after jogging in heat of 33 degrees. Once back in SA, the watch was handed in at iStore who provided me a report saying my iWatch must have taken a knock and frame was dented. There was no marks or dents, but I suspect that due to the fact that the new iWatch 4 just were released they had plenty off chancers who claimed their watches were damaged and needed an upgrade so my repair was turned down on a lie. I have now been paying almost 11k for an iWatch 3 which I don't use. Ensure you take out insurance on these items.

Discovery must have worked out what the proportion of members would be that do not make their monthly goals and saw the huge financial benefit for them in this process. it would be interesting to see how many members proportionally do not make the cut and how much money Discovery profit out of the process through offering the iWatch.
