Discovery is in the business of making money - not health. Periodt!

I have just received my anniversary letter and it is very disheartening the lengths discovery will go to, to milk money out of customers and not want to pay out. I took out a life cover with Discovery in 2014, at the time the company I worked for was on discovery medical aid and so I joined Vitality which was tied to medical aid - a few years later i changed employment thereby linking my Vitality to my life cover. In November last year, I joined a new company whom Discovery is the administrator of their medical aid - but I am not on Discovery medical aid. I have three dependents on my medical aid - without any consultation or notification Discovery immediately added my dependents on my Vitality (which is tied to life cover and not medical aid) which invariably increased my Vitality premium. When I called to understand why this had been done I was taken from pillar to post by Vitality and Life - eventually I was told that my dependents were added because of medical aid (but my issue is that I am not on discovery medical aid and I do not want Vitality for the rest of my family as none of them actually make use of these benefits and things) - The stressor though is that because all my family is on Vitality, even in spite of my hard work and effort to achieve my Vitality status, it does not move, because I have dormant people in there who are causing my score not to move - and how does this benefit discovery? Now my scores are low, this affect my cash back on the life cover as well as my integrator score. Discovery is truly in the business of making money - whatever it takes honestly. There is not health here.
