Discovery Health & Life Peglerae Hospital nowhere

I herewith refer to my mother and her membership with Discovery

She was hospitilized on the 25th of April 2023 by Dr. Oluwole at Emergencies. Dr Mbao attended to her in the Hospital until the 27th of April 2023. Dr Lundell (Nose, hear Specialist) also saw her in hospital, and requested her to make an appointment at his practise.

Dr. Mbao also requested an afterwards appointment. We phoned his practise a few times, and even the hospital to transfer to his practice. We even emailed Dr. Mbao but still no success. And this is quite urgent actually because Dr. Mbao subscribed blood sugar type of medication, but the main problem currently is high blood pressure!

We phoned Discovery on Tuesday (09/05/2023) and requested an authorization letter in order for my mother to get an appointment at Dr. Lundell. Currently Discovery can’t assist with this authorization letter because the completed PMA form is still outstanding. Discovery emailed this form to a Dr Kruger and associates, but they can’t complete the form because they did not attend to my mother at all. And also confirmed that they did receive the email with no attachment!! And suggested that this PMA form should be completed by Dr. Mbao. We requested that Discovery send the email with the PMA form to Dr. Mbao, but till date no feedback in this regard.

Three weeks passed, and our mother still hasn’t seen the Doctor, or Specialist. She still isn’t well, and still doesn’t have the correct medication
