Discovery fails once again
As a discovery vitality client, I feel discovery does not accomodate to all its clients. By this I mean if you don't have a samsung phone or the money to purchase samsung or fitness devices, and you have a Huawei your fitness steps won't get allocated. To me this is not fair as I understand the apps don't link , but accomodate for your members to manually submit results. Discovery Vitality is also a partner of Myruns and Parkruns but don't realise for some members the travel distances to do this is alot of km to drive. They should have more partners or accommodate personal runs to carry value and points. My other querry is with regards to their staff on 2 occasions a staff member gave me the incorrect information and allocated me points for a personal run and steps from a screenshot. On the next occasion assuming this I did not go to the gym with the assumption I would get the points for a 15000 steps workout. This was based on workers allocating me points previously. Today I called discovery and the manager told me the workers were wrong and the points can't be allocated. How can you run a company when your workers don't know whats happening. Its only highly unfair for me not to get my goal this week, as I was of the opinion points would be allocated to me based on the previous indications. I feel overal discovery health ,vitality, and insure are going down and disappointing clients. Last year I cancelled my insurance due to similar reasons of not being accommodating and devices giving a problem. Sadly client satisfaction is not a priority.
