Discovery cancelled my gym access incorrectly
My ex husband cancelled my medical aid and it was a nightmare to get it transferred over onto my name including my Vitality. It took almost a month to get everything sorted. In that time I did not have access to Virgin Active due to mistakes on Discovery's side. I am aware that I have not been going to the gym as regularly as usually as I'm going through a nasty divorce and have been a single parent for the past year. I received an email stating the I need to visit the gym at least 5 times before the end of July in order to avoid having my membership cancelled. By the 30th of July I had gone 5 times as I can proof. Yesterday I was told that Discovery informed Virgin Active to cancel my membership. I phoned the call centre and I was just told sorry we don't re-instate memberships. This is unacceptable as I did meet the required minimum. The attitude of the person in the call centre was also appalling.
