Discovery being stupid

To earn Vitality points, one of the easiest ways is to do a Health Check e.g. at a Clicks clinic. The tests are rudimentary but can earn lots of points. However, when you go for a full medical at a qualified physician including proper blood tests, these results do not count UNLESS that doctor is part of the Discovery network. If the tests are professionally done why not accept the results? Now I have to go through the schlep of going into a clinic where some bored nurse with much less knowledge using much less accurate tools must do another test at additional cost to Vitality.

After nearly 20 years with Discovery it feels like its time for a change. I have already cancelled my credit card because of the silly airmiles that replaced the cash back arrangement. Vitality is now starting to irritate me as well. You can use your dominant position in the market to squeeze all and sundry e.g. force doctors to join your network, but I'll vote with my feet.
