Discovery Bank
My husband and I bought flight tickets with my Discovery Credit Card, on April 6th. We had to buy new tickets from Durban to Johannesburg on June 14th and from Cape Town to Durban on July 28th, because British Airways stopped domestic flights. I have scanned all my documents and sent them to Discovery. I am wanting a refund for both flights, as I had to buy new ones. No one seems able to help me. I have been contacting Discovery since end of July to August 11th, as we to flew to Mauritius, to be with family. I have spoken to numerous consultants and been given various Reference numbers. I have been literally pushed from pillar to post. Discovery has always been very helpful in the past, but with this situation, I am getting nowhere and have become very angry. They only give you so many days to make a claim and I am afraid that I will exceed these number of days. I spent R1,539.00 with FlySafair to fly from Durban to Johannesburg on June 14th and R5808.92 with CemAir to fly Cape Town to Durban on July 28th. The last consultant I spoke with was 'Khwezi.' He sent me an email on August 16th, saying that I needed to contact Discovery Bank for reversal funds. The Reference number he gave me was #*** I have contacted them, because I am unable to download the claim form, but have not received any response from them. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Maxine Tapson
