Customer services not doing their jobs

Shockingly poor service from Discovery Vitality customer service team.

Third time I’ve had to deal with them and I thought I got unlucky the first two times eith poor consultants.

This time my Events Points option in the Vitslity App isn’t working. It also isn’t working on the website which clearly suggests that there is something wrong with my profile on Discovery’s side. Hasn’t been working since 2 Jan.

Firstly, they took more than the promised 72 hours to revert back. Then they use the wrong version of IOS to try explain how to clear my browser history on my phone which will clear the problem up. Thankfully I’m pretty clued up so I know what they wanted. What if I wasn’t? Their instructions are not clear and the terminology used is incorrect.

Of course their proposed solution didn’t work. So I’ve responded and said it doesn’t work. Let’s see how long it takes now to fix such a simple looking problem!

Discovery, why are you not attending to my problem correctly?

As a point of interest, my first problem was because points for a run was not beads to my points total. Customer service kept telling me how I was wrong and that I was looking in the wrong place without “listening” to my problem. Only when I complained did someone “listen” and fix the problem and I got my points.

Second experience was when I did a First Aid course using one of Discovery’s recommended suppliers. When I sent the certificate through they told me that the supplier wasn’t registered with the correct body hence I couldn’t get the points. But they were a recommended supplier on the Discovery website!!!!! Why are such *********** people being put at the customer facing front????

Seriously, Discovery Vitality, please resolve my problem ASAP!
