Customer Left Out of Pocket After Refund Processing

Good day

I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my Safair ticket refunds processed through Discovery Vitality.

According to Safair, the refund amounts due were:

R1,469.63

R1,317.12

The original ticket amounts paid were:

R2,398.00

R2,174.00

However, I only received refunds of:

R458.00

R293.00

Despite multiple attempts to get clarity, I have still not received a proper explanation regarding:

How the refund amounts paid to me were calculated

Why there is such a significant difference between the airline refund amounts and the amounts I received

Whether any penalties, fees, commissions, or Vitality discounts were deducted

There appears to be a substantial outstanding balance, and I find the lack of transparency and communication extremely frustrating. Customers deserve clear explanations when large portions of refunds are withheld.

I request that this matter be urgently escalated to senior management for investigation and resolution, and that a full written breakdown be provided without further delay.
