Carry over of extra Vitality Points

When I joined Discovery medical aid and took the Vitality option, we always had the luxury of carrying over the extra points to the following year when you have to start building up your points.<br> I have been fighting with my broker since last year when Discovery all of a sudden changed this and stopped the carry over of points. When you asked them why they did that you get told that it is to encourage their members to work harder to achieve their points and reach levels like gold and platinum. When I signed a contract to join Vitality these were the benefits I got offered, so when they decide they don't want to offer that anymore it is ok to change the underwriting in the policies I feel that they are in breach of contract as we had an agreement. I pay my premium every month and that is what they should give me. If they want to change the underwriting do so for the new members that join?? My personal opinion is that since they started the LIFE policies and now have to pay people when they achieve the points they want to make it harder to reach goals. Easy to take money - but difficult to part with it??
