100 points... its a joke...`goodbye vitality... terrible customer service....not customer centric
I am horrid by the response I got from discovery vitality and the poor service from a company that prides themselves on healthcare and well being. First week in Jan 2021 I logged with discovery to look at my vitality status. I was excited as I would have maintained diamond during lockdown. I missed my diamond status by 100 points can u beleive it. I called discovery and kindly asked for me to be upgraded as I missed my status by 100 points. I was greeted telephonically by Ayanda with a ref no *** that I logged my query. Today is 19 Feb 2021 with no feedback or returned phone calls which she promised to make me and give me feedback from anyone in Viatailty, then I had my broker got involved whom today gave me feedback which i did nit agree with. Vitality says they have done me a favour in giving me the points for 2020, because I could not gym, take the flu vaccine (which was a shortage), go to gym (Oh yes maybe get infected while I am excising), and take risks to stand in lines at clicks and dischem to get my check ups. Thanks Vitality really says allot about what your stands for. So you have basically done me a service and I must be thankful and pay you for it, great way to be customer centric. What VIATLITY does not realise that me not going to diamond status this impacts my whole portfolio with discovery and defeats the purpose with been a discovery client. CURRENTLY I have car insurances, life insurances, house hold insurances for both me and my spouse that is just a little over R7000 per month. So thanks Viatlity as I will def be looking to move my portfolio this year as `vitality now serves no purpose for me and my family. In addition this will impact my personal income due to me missing 100 points to go to the next level and maintain all my portfolios. So to all Vitality members please do not take this kind of arrogance and look at other insurance companies as they are also hungry for business....
