Unfinished work and ****** Items

<p>Discovery Security Systems of 37 Douglas Avenue, Craighall-</p> <p>We used Discovery Security Systems (Godfrey Moyo) to repair an issue with our home security system where the remotes were no longer connecting to the system (also supp**** by Godfrey and less than 18 months old). Godfrey replaced the 2 remotes and pushed for the invoice to be paid. In hindsight we should have tested the system more fully before making full payment, but as we had used him in the past, and knowing that money is tight for him, we fully paid. On testing the system a few hours later we found that one remote did not work. The other remote then failed within a few days. We contacted Godfrey and asked him to sort it out. After six weeks he had still not resolved the issue and by this point he had both remotes and a part of the reciever unit in his possession. On one occassion we tried calling him 25 times in one day but he just ignored our calls. We have since had to accept that he will not be completing the job or returning the 2 remotes and receiver part that are rightfully ours. He has ignored all attempts to contact him. We have now had to pay someone else to provide 2 new remotes and replace the receiver at considerable cost. </p>
