You'll die trying to get life cover..

My husband had an application for life cover declined on 29th October 2019. Noteworthy that he was a previous member of Discovery Life some years back when our going was good. When our circumstances changed, so it seems did the relationship we have with our broker (I feel as though they're not interested in us now as there's less in it for them?). Despite numerous attempts to investigate the reason for this decline, we sit some 7 months down the line and have made NO PROGRESS WHATSOEVER. I have been in contact with the Discovery offices in Derby Downs in Westville, for the entire duration of this saga and my last email to 3 members of that team, which included the CFP, simply went unanswered. Really? My husband and I have both seen the email that was finally sent to our GP (earlier this month, May 2019). After the consult with the GP, neither the GP nor my husband could clearly know the reason for the decline. The email to the Derby Downs Discovery office, with an attached copy of what Discovery sent to the GP, was the email that has since been ignored. I would love to take our business elsewhere! As soon as someone confirms how best my husband answers the standard question about ever having cover declined, we'll on our way... Amanda.
