Unwilling and Unreasonable

I am assisting one of my clients as a financial adviser who is not linked to Discovery. By law, if I submit a letter of Authority, Discovery has to disclose policy information to me, so that I can assist clients.

Since Life Policies can be very complex and not easy to understand, I agreed to send an email request on behalf of my client to request the quotes that he requires as well as options that he would like to investigate to reduce the high cost of his premiums that are increasing significantly now that he is nearing retirement.

With all the regulatory documents submitted and an email sent on behalf of my client, with him included in the correspondence, they were unwilling to assist. Even after stressing, that they do not have to send me the information, they were still unwilling to send my client the information that he requested.

All we asked is that my client's personal information, that he is entitled to by law as a consumer, be sent to him so that he could amend his policy according to his new needs.

As much as I have seen some amazing benefits, especially for diamond status client, I would not recommend this company based on their level of service and business ethics.
