Uninformed decision
I am very disappointed in the unwillingness from Discovery Life. My request to get Life insurance was rejected due my rare autoimmune condition. I was told to try again in 6-12 months. My condition is not one that will go away - its a life long immune deficiency. similar to that of lupus where I have low immunity and need an infusion each month. I provided the Discovery team with the form they asked for from my doctor and my doctor went the extra mile to provide blood work and my medical aid approval for the medication I get. I can tell you now that I am probably healthier than 80% of your clientele. How can cancer patients/HIV patients/anyone one else with well known life long diseases/conditions get life cover and I cant - a woman who is extremely healthy who only gets an infusion once a month and wanting to be able to provide for my family when I am no longer here. I honestly feel like this is an uninformed decision because your doctors are not fully aware of the condition common variable immune deficiency. If you had to see me in person, you'd never say my blood results match my person. I look like everyone else however I need a little help each month to avoid me getting flu/infections. Please also note the rejection call I got wasnt even within 12 hours of sending the form the requested from my doctor.

Thanks
