Unfair treatment

I took out life insurance in 2009 with Discovery and i have never claimed anything ever since. Jan 2021 lost my job but i still managed to try and pay my premiums. Problem started in 2022 when i had difficulty paying, i called them and explain my situation and they gave me an option of covid relief for 3 months at which point it didn't make sense because i was still struggling to find a job I asked if i can get anything from my life insurance since I've been their client for over 10 years without claiming anything and they cancelled my policy.
