SHOCKING SERVICE AND EVEN WORSE SERVICE RECOVERY

<p>It's a long experience to explain. &nbsp;To start with Discovery Vehicle Insurance forgot to let the panel beaters know to fix my car for a month, and then after this decided it was a write off and then 2 months later, they had still not paid the finance house. &nbsp;I have since been without a car since February. &nbsp;I raised this, only to receive NO actual response or apology and it currently sits "being assessed".</p> <p>Next came Discovery itself. &nbsp;My broker, completely ruined my policy structure and forgot to add dread disease, disability and gap cover to my portfolio when I changed jobs. &nbsp;He was requested to leave my retirement fund with Southern Charter as a Preservation which he decided not to do (obviously due to commission). &nbsp;Now Discovery claim it's really not their problem as&nbsp;he has since left. &nbsp;</p> <p>Now I am trying to claim an Income Continuation benefit due to being booked off for 6 months to receive very strong Chemotherapy. &nbsp;And they are not actioning this either. I have been fighting this since 1 May.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>The details are just too exhausting to repeat but are all available with the ombudsman and the compliance officer. &nbsp;</p> <p>My basic comment on Discovery is that they have a truly inhumane and disgusting approach. &nbsp;Starting with underqualified Financial Advisors.</p> <p>Guys, stay away from them. &nbsp;I am unable to continue treatment thanks to Discovery and I currently hold 2 retirement policies with them, 2 insurance policies and a life plan. &nbsp;Everything I have ever done financially has been to prepare in the event of something like this. &nbsp;Being diagnosed with Cancer in April, and going through this with NO income for 3 months so far has made my life rather difficult this year. &nbsp;I thought I would be okay financially BECAUSE of Discovery, not find myself in a position like this BECAUSE of Discovery.</p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Tracy</p>
