Premium Discrepancy - Being Cheated

Discovery Life debited me for December's & January's premiums yet my policy was cancelled.

When I disputed the debit orders, that's when Discovery requested for a letter from the bank stating that the cession is cancelled. Why didn't they request this letter when the request to cancel my policy was received? So they cheated me my taking the premiums knowing that the request for cancellation of the policy was received.

The cancellation should have been done on time. Whoever received the cancellation request obviously didn't do their job properly, so how is it my fault.

It's not the first time that Discovery is trying to make easy money from me.

I can't be paying Liberty & Discovery for a life cover.

I have a policy with Sanlam since 2008 & I wasn't cheated on this way.

It's hard to believe that Discovery, being such a big insurer can cheat clients in this way...
