Poor discovery life commitment

My husband has income protection for which he recently claimed and when I say recently I’m going back to October 2024. He received 2 of the 4 months booked off as per his specified amount required for monthly expenses. Discovery Life have been dragging out the rest of the 2 months amount still due to him. They’re happy to charge you a premium every month but come pay outs they seem to take delight in taking as long as possible to resolve. He’s still waiting for feedback. This is not the first bad experience we have had with Discovery as a whole.
