Not treating customers fairly

I recently joined a new company and had to cancel my medical aid with Disc. I asked the life team to provide a quote that includes my dependants in order to ensure we remain on Vitality. They provided a quote that just increased my life cover, after submission they told me that my dependants would not remain on vitality! And asked if they should include them. I called them and asked for a quote that would keep us on Vitality. I was provided with quote, after submission I am sent more forms and more requirements!

They could easily have provided me with the correct information and requirements to complete my change request, but they would rather send me from pillar to post and pose barriers to my request. This is unacceptable and extremely frustrating, a complete waste of my time - this should have been concluded last week!

Discovery is not complying with TCF Outcome 6 - Consumers do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers imposed by firms to change product, switch provider, submit a claim or make a complaint
