No Documents but charging account!

A few weeks ago, my wife and I decided to take up life insurance. The call was almost an hour and all details were answered accordingly.

The operators name was Shamuel. The man makes more promises than he is able to keep. We decided to go ahead and agreed to the T&C and pricing and agreed to have to signed off.

It was promised that we will receive some documents. Unfortunately... this was the begin of the first lie.

No documents whatsoever.

Two days later, my wife was called for medicals. Everything was fine, the nurse approached her at her work place and her side was done.

Unfortunately, I am a foreigner and nothing happened as usual. If you’re a foreigner you’re always a problem.

Mr Shamuel decided to call me and told me that my passport is not ok and a copy is needed. Very questionable hence, I am already a customer as Discovery Medical Insurance ans all my details are in the system. However. He ended up saying the passport copy is needed. With regards promises made of documents he wanted to send... as usual. No problem Sir. I’ll send it in 5 minutes.

Neither documentation nor mail for passport copy. Days go by and I decided to call in myself hence nothing received.

After a long chat with himself and his superior ... the mail that was supposed to be sent days ago, finally arrives.

I have rep**** to it and sent copy of passport and called in again to ensure Mr Shamuel will finally see my details.

He confirms receiving it and confirms that someone will call me bac****

Still no documentation no nothing. Intact... I agree to something telephonically and I ain’t got a clue what I agreed for... nothing in paper. Not even a logo.

A week goes by and I call the same guy again. Mr Shamuel is coming short with his excuses and I ain’t got a clue if he’s lying to me or just selling me a washing machine over the phone.

The last objection was. Mr Shamuel. If nobody shall contact me for a medical appointment before 23:59 Christmas Eve. The deal is over. Mr Shamuel accepts the deal and... life goes on.

Nobody called. No mail arrived. No documentation, absolutely nothing.

I am already feeling discriminated as usual hence... my wife got called two days past the initial call, while ... I have to sit and beg I’ve true phone.

Well... this evening... I have just received a notification from my bank that Discovery Life just Charger my account.

So now... let’s drop the friendliness and polite manners for a moment.

You guys are lying to me and keep me waiting. You don’t send me documents and you keep on pulling my nose for ... mail will come.

If I don’t call behind you you ain’t give a ****. Shamuel is lying himself and story after another one and makes promises he can’t keep.

But then lastly you’re just raping me financially and charge my account for which insurance if I may ask?

Which medicals did you consolidated with me? Where is the agreement please? When did the nurse visited me and where are the results?

Just because I am a foreigner you allow yourself to play me like this?

I am not desperate to have a life insurance with you and treating customers as such does really question your behavior in the future.

I’m pretty sure. Someone will Call in 3 weeks and tell me a sad story about an internal tragedy and I just have to believe it.

You’ll have to bring something at the table to lift up the trust... so you’re either going to be proud or stingy!
