Mental awareness due to life policy - Discovery

I app**** for a Life Insurance through Discovery Life. Nurse came in last week to draw bloods and urine sample. I did fill in form that I have Schizophrenia. It was not approved due to me having Schizophrenia. I am not a happy customer. I have been on Discovery medical aid for nearly 10 years and the utter disappointment. I only realize now that I have a mental illness that I can have a life policy but to my dismay they did not approve. To my assumption mental health plays a very important part in today's world, but yet they did not approve my life policy even when they are well aware of my condition. No support in what I suffer from. From a dreary disappointed customer. How can I go about resolving this? Will this be continuous where mental patients can't get life policy? One never expects a mental illness. Regards
