medical tests

I have just signed up for my policy and was told that I would be called to do my tests. After being told what tests would be required and having investigated this further all of these blood tests can be done via a basic finger ***** which is great new for me. I suffer from Trypanophobia (the extreme fear of needles) this stems from being in ICU for a while after a car accident years ago. I have to be sedated before I can undergo any type of blood tests as I have full blown panic attacks if not. Now after investigating the tests that the nurses required I set up the appointment.

The gentleman has just left my home empty handed, he refused to do a finger ***** after I explained to him the situation and the findings of my research . I even agreed to do all 10 fingers if need be.

I can understand full blood tests for something specific or hereditary to be tested for however the tests required just FYI ( Random blood sugar, HIV, Lipogram and HBA1C - all of which can be done in this way and are generally checked when one does a vitality health check.)

Liberty has offered this service since July 2012 specifically for clients like myself with this type of phobia. Why can Discovery not assist me with this?

I have been a loyal Discovery member for many years with my health and card plans.

I do not want to look for this cover elsewhere as I have been very happy with the service received thus far. The sales agent, David, who sold me the policy was amazing and I feel he should be commended for his great work.

Please advise on what I can do here as I am now very upset and frustrated at this situation.

Apologies I see it has picked up the word as bad language. It is the finger clicker that is used.
