Don't be honest when making an application

<p>I made an application and discovery life declined it citing medical reason...but the medicals i did prove without a doubt that it was not for medical reasons. My doctor was suprised for their reasoning...</p> <p>1. I was told its because of anxiety and stress, she asked who doesn't suffer from anxiety/stress? </p> <p>2. I was told its becuase of drugs, well nothing was found on my system but simply because i had said i smoked Marijuana not everyday nor occationally but i last smoked it desember.</p> <p>3. I was told its because of alcohol, she was suprised as people do occationally drink....</p> <p>My doctor then made other tests to justify the results, but what could be the reasoning because i was already declined. For Discovery Life to send my results (non medical) to a doctor and have me pay for consultations is really not a good business conduct...as i was liable for payment and the tests just for justification. So Discovery life is promoting a kind of service where you have to lie to get a cover, but as soon as its aproved and you have to claim...you'll be told but you didn't disclose. No wonder people are always caught offguard as they don't understand the implication of not disclosing certain information. For a big business to promote such, its really dissapointing. but then again i am trully dissapointed!!!</p>
