Dissatisfied policy holder

I have been paying a policy into the account of Discovery funeral plan I lost my job but continue to pay but I was told recently that the policy was canceled but I continued to pay my regular premiums and that of a backdated amount as planned to do I need to know how do I retrieve my money back... How could a company accept monies n not know what n why its there...is this a new way of cheating the innocent and building empires. Please assist i will submit my policy detail n mine if I get feed back from Discovery
