Discovery Life-Putting a target on peoples lives

My boyfriend at the time and I bought a house in or about 2008. We took out a life insurance policy through Discovery wherein we made each other as the others beneficiary and he was the person responsible for paying the policy. We got married in 2012 and thereafter divorced in 2014. I completely forgot about the policy until I took out another policy and my adviser advised me that I am still insured however, I am not his beneficiary anymore. So my issue is, this man i s paying for a life cover without my consent. Yes I did consent at the time, now we have no dealings with each other at all and now I basically have a target on my head. Discovery refuses to do something about this! I want this cancelled now! He can pay for his on damn policy but I want my name out of his!
