Discovery Life discriminates against bigger people

I have never felt so discriminated against as a bigger person until I tried to take out life insurance with Discovery Life.... I was declined for life insurance with Discovery for being over weight and hypertension... Firstly I am well aware that I am over weight, however am also trying to change that. Secondly I do not suffer with hypertension, your nurse took my blood pressure 6 times and took the last reading which would be the worst reading after 6 painful readings... Those cuffs will hurt you no matter what your size, yet I had to endure that 6 times... Now, I am a discovery health member as well as a vitality member... So I automatically thought Discovery would access certain information, but obviously not. Like I said I am a bigger person but am currently trying to change my life. Being a discovery health and vitality person, Discovery would have seen that I am not a sickly person judging by the amount of times I visit the doctor in a year. They would also see that I have joined the gym through vitality, I make healthier food choices and get my points and also get my 5000 steps in every now and then... Instead of Discovery inflating my premium as I am currently attempting to better my life, they simply decline me in a nice little email stating due to medical conditions. Discovery, I have been a member of your medical aid all my life. Come November, when I am able to cancel, I will not longer be a member of your medical aid as I will not be discriminated against something I am bettering.
