DISCOVERY LIFE

We have a life policy with discovery life under the policy there is a parent care benefit that we only found out about a week ago my father in law died in December 2020and we submit a claim to discovery life and now they told us that we don not have a claim because 3 months has passed already, but I went through the policy schedule and now where there is something about a 3 month waiting period
