Discovery Life and Medical Aid speak with forked tongues! The worst company at communication

The worst communicating company I have ever dealt with. I have a life cover with them and they pay back so much a year if you meet their criteria. One is that if you spend so much on your medical aid it will vary the payback. So I got food poisoning at a restaurant in November and the hospital bills came to a lot which affected my yearly pay back - how ever I phoned Discovery Medical aid explained it to them that they would be paid back from the Restaurant that poisoned me's public liability and the chap on the phone agreed the amount would be credited to my claims and would bring the amount down. The insurance company also found this out as I was holding them liable for the difference in my life cover payback,they were told if they paid back discovery my claims would reduce for my life cover and my payback wouldn't be affected. With this I signed the insurance company release as they owed me for out of pocket expenses Discovery were paid back. My broker contacted Discovery and now its been 7 months no resolve. They are quick to take your money but slow to return it. My broker has also requested the recording of the conversation I have had with a Discovery med aid guy who confirmed the payback and its plain as day he agreed to it . The thing is if I had not spoken up the med aid would be out 30k! now they have it back and wont pay me a few grand they owe me! Discovery speak with forked tongue! Beware using them when its plain easy claims and payout its ok but get something out of the ordinary they duck and dive. So for back up by Discovery I would not recommend them .
