Discovery Honours, Sponsorships, New Head Office, Smoothies - But Not Life Claims

Dear Discovery,

After been a a loyal customer and believing that you would honour claims, I believe that the only thing Discovery honours, is Sponsorship, New Head Office, and possibly a smoothie if one visits the gym.

Discovery has really let me down in my time of need. Where I have done everything in my power not to put a claim in, where I took nearly 5 months to submit claim. Where since last November, I have sought treatment, did Physio, Did medication, and Did the time to see if my condition would improve.

To no avail Discovery has rejected my claim.. I never claimed for hearing loss, and the claim was for Nerve Damage. Secondly It seems Discovery sees it fit for their client to be in pain. Do you know what is to be on Lyrica? Maybe see the effects, Maybe you should have asked me.

Lastly, you determined that the pain is manageable with the medication..

Do you know that I can't sleep Do you know this has affected my relationship with my wife Do you know that I slur during the day Do you know that I cant get up after been heavily dosed through the night Do you know that I loose concentration Do you know that it feels if a nail, been driven through my ear Do you know that I can not touch my right Ear Do you know that my dose has been reduced so I can function a little better Do you Know I have been called into the Boss office, questioning my ability to work DO YOU ACTUALLY KNOW

Not once did we hide anything from Discovery Not once did we not seek multiple professional advice from multiple doctors Not once did We claim straight away in November 2017 Not even in March 2018 Not even claimed the 2.5% from March 2018.. I have paid for scans, seeing professionals, paying for medication every month.... and Your comments that I do not need a Hearing aid.

Do you not think I would get a hearing aid if it would take the pain away.......... Do you think I would not seek over pain relief

Not once has Discovery called to ask me How I am...... Not once has Discovery actually Called to ask me to explain how I am effected and my family. Not once did Mignon Wainwright called me, Not once did discovery say I could send extra information in

Please can Discovery send me an official letter to state that It is fine for me to perform my daily duties that includes Driving, so that I can send it my insurance so that I can disclose that Discovery said it is oK to drive using Lyrica. That I can send to my employers where I drive a company car that it is ok

Please can discovery indicate that I can increase my dosage again so I can numb the pain and be in Zombie state

Lastly as per Discovery, They are rejecting claim that I returned to work. I love that the world is so simple, where we have the ability to not to return to work and stay at home. We as take out these covers to protect us... To put in the hours at work until such time Insurance policy could kick in so one can stay at home and heal.

Thank you Discovery for being so Insensitive, I hope your active involvement in Sponsorship, New Head office, and your countless Smoothie offerings goes well. I question if you will honour any life claim.
