Discovery doesn't pay claims only collect premiums to enriched themselves Empty promises when taking out Policies

I took out a Life insurance policy with Discovery life in February 2015 with added Disability benefits as well as Vitality benefits. In September 2015 I was attacked by two pitbull dogs while standing on the side of the road, I ran away and was hit by a car. I was admitted to Margate Netcare hospital and underwent an operation on the 26th September 2015. The person that hit me left the scene of the accident so no information was exchanged. While I was booked off I was informed by the company that I worked that there were a Notice of Inquiry agaist me for Dishonesty and absent from work without permission. According to them the owner of the company spoke to my doctor and he informed her that I was booked of wrongfully. Upon investigation I proof to them that she was lying and that she never spoke to the doctor but spoke to the receptionist and that he still stands by the sick note of six weeks. The accident happened in Uvongo, KZN. I stay in Gauteng, upon returning to Gauteng I consulted a doctor in Benoni and he confirmed the six weeks sick note, he further book me on light duty upon returning to work on the 9th November 2015. On the day of my return to work they informed me that I was found not quilty on the Notice of Inquiry, but the same day I was retrench. Last day of duty were the 15th December 2015 (the day the company closed down for christmas break), 5 other people were retrenched with me but these people that was retrenched with me were either given back their jobs or given other jobs in the company on the 4th January 2016 when the company opened again for work. I've put in a disability claim against Discovery in October 2015. In February 2016 I was booked for surgery again on my left wrist where the plate and *****s were removed, according to the consulting docter and Occupational therepist at that time this would have solved my problem using my left hand. In June 2016 I consulted a Orthopedic Surgeon in Kempton Park where I was informed that my left wrist has fallen in and that I hurt my left shoulder in the accident in September 2015 and that I have servere Osthioperosis in my left shoulder, arm, wrist and hand, I again was booked for surgery in June 2016, August 2016 and October 2016. In total I had 5 operation to satisfy Discovery because according to them there is still something that can be done to safe my left hand, wrist, arm and shoulder. My claim was declined three times, 1 time 31 November 2016, 39% impaired in left upper limb, 13 February 2017 54% impaired in left upper limb, in August 2017, 76% impaired in left hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. They send me to a Occupation the****** in February 2017 for accessment, while being accesses the Occupational the****** dog jump on me from behind this I had to endure after my attach from dogs in September 2015. According to Discovery Life and my previous employer I am able to do Admin and PA work with only my right hand. After the third claim they put private investigater and accessors to follow me around to see what I do during the day and if I'm working currently they even entered premises under false pretenses to see what I'm doing there. Again the claim was declined because according to Discovery I'm still able to do my nominated job. I took out a policy to cover me now Discovery has a lot of excuses not to pay out. After a horrific attack by dogs, hit by a car, lost of job and thousand of rand in debt to prove my claim they still doesn't want to accommodate me in any way. This is a clear indication to anybody who want's to take out a policy from Discovery Life THEY DO NOT PAY PLEASE WATCH OUT ALWAYS EXCUSES

This has not been resolved you do this to all the complaints. Both parties needs to be happy for a problem to be resolved. This complaint was posted after your report was sent to me. The email you have sent today was the same as the report you sent before! How is this resolved by doing nothing???? Please ask to be trained on customer relations and stop putting up a front to customers that you resolve complaints. Discovery does not do anything to resolve a complaint. They like to look and take customers money!!!!!! I would like Discovery and my former employee which they contacted and who informed them that i will be able to do my job with one hand to give me the job but also take into consideration the time i need to take off for docters appointment and physio appointments. And give me the salary that i earned!!!!!!
